Patrick Williford joined Carolina Financial Advisors after beginning his career at a large national broker-dealer. There he gained a strong foundation serving high-net-worth families through a rigorous training program. As his career progressed, he became convinced that clients are better served when advice is free from quotas and product pushes, but instead focuses entirely on their goals and unique circumstances. This led him to establish an independent practice with Carolina Financial Advisors. Today, his clients benefit from access to a broad universe of solutions, delivered with integrity, diligence, and an unwavering commitment to their best interests.
Patrick holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ designation. He specializes in in the intersection of comprehensive financial analysis, legacy and estate strategies, and tax-aware investing. His work focuses on empowering families to be intentional stewards of the wealth and resources entrusted to them.
A native of Greensboro, Patrick is an active member of the Greensboro 100 Club, the Piedmont Triad Clemson Club, the North Carolina MG Car Club, and several other nonprofits and community organizations throughout the Triad. He lives in Greensboro with his wife, who is his high school sweetheart, and he still drives the same Toyota 4Runner he got when he turned 16. Both facts are a testament to his long-term investment philosophy. Outside of the office, he is a proud father, an avid bass fisherman, aspiring classic car tinker-er, occasional snow skier, and still foolishly believes that there is a scratch golfer buried deep inside of him somewhere.
